bio is divided into three parts, with three profs teaching each. 

the first, hirsh, was absolutely wonderful.  he had the thought of a bio major playing in my head.  

the second, mateer, is an ignorant hawaiian shirt wearing moron who doesn't seem to know what he is teaching... oof...

the last is kittleson, which is a great guy, wonderful professor.  unfortunately, mateer screwed me out of bio so much that i only attended one of kittleson's lectures... yeah

madame cone is awesome.  the class is fun, with the only difficulty being dragging one's self out of bed and into class by eight... :) oh, and the tests.  and the lab... well... yeah.  good class though, definitely, and great prof.

This is the best class taught by the best profs with the best ideas.  Ever.  Period.  Take three brilliant profs from anthropology and history, give 'em a lot of cash, and a theme, and American Wests is born.  It gave a unique view into various aspects of the West: everything from Cowboys and Indians to Mormons and nukes... yeah.  It was wonderful, enlightening, and yeah... Amazing.

The one class that is making me a feminist.  Yelp.  I am learning a lot, and am able to apply it to many classes and life.  Great class.
